Fubon Art Museum (79 Songgao Rd) is a few minutes' walk from the Hyatt and is running "Old Masters: Rembrandt to Goya" (50+ Toledo Museum of Art paintings, Jul 18 – Oct 19) through your whole Week 1 stay — good after-work evening option.

Week 2 hotel + office Courtyard by Marriott, Sep 6 – 12 · Office: 20F, No. 121 Jingmao 2nd Rd

One Brown Line stop from LaLaport Nangang. Deep lunch scene built around the office — see the Food Guide. Also home to Taipei Music Center (Jazz Festival main stage).

Bar and café district, a short walk/ride from the Grand Hyatt. Asia's 50 Best Bars 2026 extended list: The Public House (Xinyi Rd Sec 4, #92) and Bar Mood (Dunhua S Rd, #82, deep Japanese whisky). Handmade leather goods district: Harui Studio, Taco Handmade Leather, GreenRoom, Kamaro'an (Taiwanese indigenous design motifs — most distinctive pick).

RGH Knives (Ximen) — walk-in. Yan Ping Knife Sword (Datong) — curated, well-reviewed, appointment-only, contact ahead.

Scheduled — Sat Sep 5, 10:00–10:45am Ceramics old street, ~20 min direct TRA from Taipei Main. Eilong Pottery Boutique and Shu Family Studio (est. 1926) — check the maker's mark.

Himeshara (2-star Michelin) relocated here from Susukino — ~10 min taxi from the hotel. Quieter, residential-adjacent area near Maruyama Park.

Overnight — Sep 14–15, OMO5 Meiji-era Western architecture on hillside streets. Hakodate Ropeway up Mt. Hakodate for one of Japan's top 3 night views. The Glass Studio (Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse) is on this walk.
